Terms & Conditions

1. Scope

These terms apply to samples, custom manufacturing and wholesale orders supplied by Gautam Bags ("we", "us") to businesses, institutions, retailers and brand owners ("the buyer"). We sell to businesses only, not to individual consumers.

2. Specifications and approvals

• Orders are made from a sample, reference photos or written specifications agreed with the buyer.
• The buyer is responsible for the accuracy of the artwork, sizes and colours they supply.
• We advise on materials and construction, but the buyer gives the final approval before bulk production.

3. Samples

• Custom orders normally need an approved sample before bulk production.
• Bulk production starts only after the buyer approves the sample in writing or on WhatsApp.
• Any sample charge is stated in the quotation.

4. Natural variation

Stitched goods can vary slightly in size and shade from the approved sample, and fabric shades can vary between batches. Any acceptable variation is agreed with the quotation.

5. Timelines and delivery

• Sample and production times depend on the design, quantity and materials, and are confirmed in the quotation.
• Production times start once the sample is approved and any payment due at that stage, as set out in the quotation, is received.
• Delivery outside Jaipur is arranged for each order.
• Timelines may change because of material shortages or events beyond our control. We will tell the buyer as soon as we know.

6. Checks and claims

• We check each batch before it is packed.
• The buyer should inspect the goods promptly after delivery, within the period stated in the quotation.
• Problems such as faulty stitching, broken zips or clear differences from the approved sample should be reported with photos within that time.
• We will repair, replace or credit valid claims, as agreed with the buyer.

7. Logos and trademarks

The buyer confirms that any logos, trademarks, text and artwork they supply do not infringe anyone else's rights, and agrees to cover Gautam Bags for any claims, damages or legal costs that arise from that artwork.

8. Prices and payment

Quotations are in Indian Rupees and exclude GST and freight unless stated. A GST invoice is issued for each order. Payment terms, including any advance, are set out in the quotation.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan.
